October 2014 – Unipreneur

What is UniPreneur? It is a FREE course that University of Manchester Alumnus, Nikolay Piryankov runs for us, alongside the Manchester Entrepreneurs Society. Hosted at The University of Manchester Innovation Centre (UMIC), this course will help you to start your own business within just 3 days! This event is for University of Manchester students and graduates (up to 2 years) only. We will be streaming the event live for those unable to attend and the video will be made available post event.

November 2014 – Inspiring Innovation

  • Are you an entrepreneurial student in need of advice?
  • Do you have an idea for a digital enterprise but not sure where to start?
  • Do you want to learn from those who have been there and done it?

If you answered yes to one of these questions, then this is the event for you!

This is part of a series of events to encourage and promote Student Entrepreneurship at the University. Come and hear from 4 inspirational digital entrepreneurs who have been there and got the t-shirt. They will share their stories, experiences and lessons learnt with you. If you’re an entrepreneurial student, this is the event for you.

April 2015 – Business Development Workshop

This is a bespoke workshop designed exclusively for our IQuBit cohort. This workshop will focus on the key topics which our start-ups are currently struggling with.

June/July 2015 – Demo Day

This demo day will be an opportunity for the IQuBit cohort to showcase their enterprises to a variety of experts including alumni, investors, entrepreneurs and the brightest and best from the Manchester Tech start-up scene.
